Q. How do I register for my Accommodation and what will I need?

Q. Can I put posters on the walls?

A. You cannot use tape or nails (or glue). White tack is probably the best option as it does not leave greasy marks. All blue tack must be completely removed when you move out

Q. How do I register for the internet?

Q. Where can I find out about societies?

A. There will be a freshers fair held in your first week so you can get information about societies there

 

Q. I'm in a shared study, what does this mean?

Q. What will my address be?

Q. When to I pay my tuition  fees?

A. When you register at the University.

 

Q. What will I need for formals

A. If your hall has formals then you should wear smart dress i.e. jacket and tie/tuxedo.

 

Q. Can I have a television in my room?

A. Of course you can! However some halls/rooms/positions do not get very good signal and you will have to get a television license.

Q. What is the current in the rooms?

A. 230/240 volts and 50Hz
